Talesity Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Tecurcity (“Tecurcity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the developer and operator of the Talesity mobile application (“Talesity” or the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using Talesity, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

If you have any questions about how we handle your child's information specifically, please also read our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.

2. Who Can Use Talesity

Talesity is designed to be used by parents and legal guardians on behalf of their children. To create an account or subscribe, you must be:

• At least 18 years old, and
• The parent or legal guardian of any child whose name, age, or gender you provide to personalize a story.

By entering your child's information into Talesity, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, and that you consent to our collection and use of that information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Talesity currently supports one child profile per account.

3. Your Account

You can try Talesity's first 2 stories without creating an account. To unlock more free stories (up to 5 in total) and to subscribe afterward, you'll need to create an account using email/password, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Subscription, Free Stories, and Billing

Talesity offers a limited number of free stories — your first 2 without an account, and up to 5 in total once you create a free account.

• After you've used your free stories, continued access to new stories requires a paid subscription, currently priced at $9/month, billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
• All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, using the payment method on file with your Apple ID or Google Account. Tecurcity does not collect, process, or store your payment card details.
• We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to track your subscription status. RevenueCat does not have access to your card details.
• Your subscription automatically renews each month at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• We may change the subscription price from time to time. If we do, we'll provide notice before the change takes effect on your next billing cycle, and you'll be able to cancel if you don't agree to the new price.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (App Store > Subscriptions) or your Google Play account settings (Play Store > Subscriptions) — the same place you started it. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund amounts already charged.

Refunds

Because Apple and Google process all payments, refund requests are handled directly through their refund processes (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google: Google Play's order history). Tecurcity does not independently issue refunds outside of these platforms, except where we determine, at our sole discretion, that a billing error has occurred on our end.

5. Your License to Use Talesity

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Talesity on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App or its content;
• Use the App for any commercial purpose, including reselling or redistributing generated stories, narration, or images;
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or systematically download story content, audio, or images from the App;
• Use the App in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks;
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or to violate any applicable law.

6. Our Content

All stories, narration, audio, illustrations, software, and other content made available through Talesity(the “Content”) are owned by or licensed to Tecurcity. We grant you the right to view and listen to Content within the App for your and your child's personal enjoyment — this does not give you any ownership rights in the Content itself.

Content in Talesity is generated using artificial intelligence tools. While we aim for high quality, we do not guarantee that AI-generated stories will always be free of errors, and Content is intended for entertainment purposes only — it is not professional, medical, psychological, or educational advice. Please use your judgment as a parent in deciding what content is right for your child.

7. Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or comments through the App's feedback feature, you agree that we may use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into Talesitywithout any obligation to compensate or credit you. Please don't submit feedback that is abusive, illegal, contains someone else's personal information, or that you don't have the right to share.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Your use of Talesity is also subject to the usage terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store through which you downloaded the App. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google, and they may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple and Google have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple and Google are each a third-party beneficiary of these Terms as they relate to your use of the App on their respective platforms, and each may enforce these Terms against you.

9. Disclaimers

Talesityis provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tecurcity will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Talesity. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Tecurcity harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

12. Termination

You may stop using Talesity and cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 4. We may suspend or terminate your access to Talesity if you violate these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your use of the App poses a risk to us, other users, or any child.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify you through the App or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Talesity after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first at the details below — most issues can be resolved quickly this way. If a dispute can't be resolved informally within 90 days, it will be governed by and resolved under the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

15. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tecurcity regarding Talesity. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
